Fall for Flats

Wondering if you can still wear those ballet flats this fall?

Good news - yes, you can!  They pair well with your favorite jeans, slouchy trousers or dresses and skirts. You can still rock your traditional ballet, crochet or maryjane styles, but try adding  socks to freshen up the look: go with a ruffle edged ankle pair or a daring knee sock.

If you don’t have a favorite flat yet, opt for these newer takes instead of a traditional ballet style:

  • Adorned with buckles

  • Embellished with studs or rhinestones

  • Go luxe  - think metallic silver, silk or velvet

  • Sleek smoking slippers in a fun color or material like velvet or animal print

  • A good tassel or penny loafer is still a great choice

And if you can’t decide, check out Alohas or Dolce Vita. They both have a great selection of flats in one place!
